Futurecon 2: The Wrath of Con Registration
The dates of the event are Friday, December 30th, 2011 to Sunday, January 1st, 2012
Some notes on things that are different this year…
1 – Hotel rooms are being booked directly through the hotel. For your convenience, we have set up a direct link to do this. Click Here!
Just make sure that the code “F12″ shows up in the box that says “Group Code”.
If you wish to call and speak to a live person to make your reservation you must call 905-474-0444 during regular business hours, 9am -5pm Monday to Friday. Calling the 1-800 Holiday Inn number will get you routed to a call centre, and you will not get the correct rate. This means you will pay more money! (No one wants that.)
Again, the proper phone number to call is 905-474-0444. When you make your room reservation, you will need to provide the group name “Futurecon 2011 New Year’s Eve Gala.”
2 – To book a room party, call Kelly Morgan directly at 905-307-3047 during the regular business hours noted above.
3 – You asked for it, and we got it… MORE FOOD! For more information CLICK HERE
4 – Pre-Reg ends December 5th. No exceptions. After this point, on site registration is $60 (cash or money order only) at the door. Premium ticket functions, such as the meal plan (Friday reception, Saturday lunch, and Sunday’s private brunch) as well as Saturday’s entertainment package and banquet, must be paid for by December 5th.
5 – Dinner was very busy last year. We want more breathing room this time around. So we will be opening up overflow rooms. Space in the main room will be given on a first-come, first serve basis, and will be limited to 200 guests. No discounts will be given to people banqueting in an overflow room so register early to guarantee your spot for all of the New Year’s Eve festivities as well as the live entertainment! (By the end of September is strongly recommended.)
6 – This year, dinner will include a free souvenir wine glass, customized with the event name and date, while supplies last.
7 – If you won a free base registration on Purple Day or another prize giveaway, please contact us for your registration code BEFORE you fill out the form. Every contest code is unique, so that registration can track where the complimentary pass originated. Redemption requests for free base registrations must be pre-registered and will not be accommodated at the door.
8 – Please be aware that Futurecon has a dress code of smart casual or better at the New Year’s Eve festivities. Semi-formal is encouraged. ”Smart casual” basically means no jeans, running shoes, golf attire, combats (unless you are cosplaying), or leather (unless it’s from Universal Designs… or you are cosplaying… or both).
9 – Absolutely no refunds will be issued. This is a charity event, and every dollar counts!
10 – Do you have a talent, skill, or product that can help us raise money and awareness for people living with epilepsy? Want to join our team? Send us a message: we’re looking for a few good fans! You might even get into the show FREE! (Note: space is limited. Not all applications can be accepted.)
Got all that? Okay! Currently, only the Saturday night banquet and standard registration is available on the form. If you want to have a look-see, CLICK HERE!
And remember, we have been, and always shall be, your friends!
